Guitar building
Guitar Construction
Each guitar is custom-built to meet the specific needs, style, and characteristics of each musician. The selection of woods and any other required features, including aesthetics and ergonomics (dimensions, weight, etc.), are carefully considered during the instrument's construction. All guitars adhere to a design based on traditional lutherie schools, particularly the Madrid school, renowned for its masters like Santos Hernández and Domingo Esteso, and the Torres guitar, considered an essential model for understanding the essence of the Spanish guitar sound. The result is a guitar of unparalleled sound quality and exceptional playing comfort, designed to facilitate both performance and expressive ability for the musician.
Common technical features across all guitars include the use of Honduran cedar for the neck, and Indian rosewood or ebony for the fretboard; in addition to the use of a 650 or 660 mm scale length for all models. The final weight of the instruments is almost always between 1100 and 1300 grams, about 400 grams less than is typical for guitars currently on the market, making them very lightweight. At present, the only varnish used is shellac applied by hand without prior application of a wood sealer.
Anyone who wishes to do so can request a custom design of the guitar's aesthetics.
